Cake With Spinach and Carrots: Recipes Perfect for Any Time of the Day

Who said that there is only one way to prepare cake with spinach and carrots? In this article we selected four recipes for you, including two ways of preparing traditional and the other two in the Thermomix. In the last, nor will you need to take the cake to the oven, because the Thermomix also offers this option in the mode varoma!

There is a recipe with the dough flattened, the other with flour integral, an option without gluten and finally a with syrup, sugary orange juice to enjoy on the day of screwed up.

4 CAKE RECIPES WITH SPINACH AND CARROTS

1. CAKE WITH SPINACH AND CARROTS WITH SYRUP OF ORANGE IN THE THERMOMIX

Prepare this cake green with syrup, sugary orange juice for the snack of the week-end.

– Ingredients –

  • 200 g of carrots
  • 100 g of spinach
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 400 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 190 g flour T55
  • 2 tablespoons shallow, baking for cakes
  • 500 ml of juice of orange

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Grease a crown form (22 x 5.5) with butter and sprinkle with flour. Book.
  2. In the cup the Thermomix place 100 g of carrot and grate 5 sec./reg. 5. Download with the help of the spatula that was on the wall of the cup.
  3. Add the spinach and grind 5 sec./reg. 5. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the glass clean insert the butterfly. Place the egg whites and salt and beat 5 min./reg. 4. Remove and set aside.
  5. Insert the butterfly and put in the cup the egg yolks with 300 g sugar and beat 2 min./reg. 3.
  6. Remove the butterfly, add in a cup of butter and the chopped vegetables reserved and grind 15 sec./reg. 7. Download with the putty knife that was left on the wall of the cup.
  7. Insert the butterfly, add in the cup in the flour and the yeast and fold in 10 sec./reg. 1,5.
  8. Remove the butterfly, add the egg whites reserved, and engage with the help of the spatula. Pour in the form and place in the varoma.
  9. In the glass clean place 100 g of carrot and chop 5 sec./reg. 7. Download with the help of the spatula that was on the wall of the cup.
  10. Add 500 ml of orange juice and 100 g sugar. Place the varoma with the form and bake 35 min./varoma/vel. 1.
  11. Remove the varoma and set aside to cool for 10 minutes before desenformar. Serve drizzled with the syrup.

2. CAKE WITH SPINACH AND CARROTS FULL

In addition to the spinach and the carrots, this cake takes a courgette, oats, and flours whole grain. In replacement of sugar use honey, for a cake completely healthy.

– Ingredients –

  • 1 carrot
  • 10 leaves of spinach
  • ½ Cup of honey
  • 1 cup of oat flakes
  • 1 cup of whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup of rye flour integral
  • 1 cup of courgette, grated
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 ml of low-fat yoghurt

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Start by connecting the oven at temperature of 180 degrees.
  2. Wash, rinse, and drain very well the carrot, the courgette and the spinach. Peel the carrot and the courgette and grate them.
  3. Puree in a blender the carrots, the spinach, the eggs, the honey, yoghurt and courgette.
  4. Transfer to a large bowl and add the flours, the oats, and finally the yeast. Wrap well and set to cook approximately half an hour at 180 degrees.
  5. Let cool a little before desenformar.

3. CAKE WITH SPINACH AND CARROTS WITHOUT GLUTEN IN THE THERMOMIX

This suggestion will use rice in lieu of the flour. You can choose to buy the rice flour or use the Thermomix to grind the rice and make flour fresh.

– Ingredients –

  • 100 g of carrot
  • 100 g of spinach
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt fine
  • 300 g of brown sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 300 g of rice
  • 2 spoons (tea) baking powder for cakes

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Put in the cup the rice and grind 1 min./reg. 10.
  2. Remove the cup measure, place the basket in the percolator, and dry it at 120 degrees, 20 min/spd 2. Book.

  13. Bake in the oven until golden brown.

4. CAKE WITH SPINACH AND CARROTS

  • 3 carrots small
  • 1 bunch of spinach
  • 2 cups (tea) of oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 4 cups (tea) of flour
  • 2 cups (tea) of sugar
  • 2 spoons (soup) of baking powder

– Mode of preparation –

  1. Puree in a blender the carrots cut in slices with 1 cup oil and 3 eggs.
  2. In a bowl, mix 2 cups of flour and 1 cup sugar. Add the mixed ingredients in a blender and set aside.
  3. Puree in a blender the spinach, 1 cup oil and 3 eggs.
  4. In a container mix 2 cups of flour, 1 cup sugar and add the mixed ingredients in the blender. Book.
  5. After ready the two masses add in each one a tablespoon of baking powder and stir gently.
  6. In a form greased and floured dispose of the mass of the carrot. On top pour the batter into spinach.
  7. Bake in pre-heated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
  8. After baked, drizzle with a chocolate syrup of your preference.
