The ski area is located at an altitude of 1020-1775 m. The total length of the slopes is 14 km, the longest is 4.6 km. The layout of the slopes is approximately the same in terms of difficulty: a third is for beginners, a third is for more advanced skiers, and another third is for “pros”. Plus two ski jumps and 3 km of cross-country skiing trails.

The resort has a sufficient number of cafes and restaurants, in particular at most hotels. The cuisine here is varied: European, Japanese, Chinese and, of course, Romanian. It would be a mistake not to try Romanian dishes, they are very tasty, prepared from unique products and have mysterious names: hominy with tokitura (a visiting card of Romanian cuisine), chorba de burte, sarmale, mich… If you try to get to the bottom of it, then this corn porridge, offal prepared in a special way, cabbage rolls and cold cuts. Names such as carp hodgepodge, chicken in cast iron and river trout cooked on needles do not cause confusion, but they taste just great.

There are quite a variety of sightseeing opportunities. First of all, from Poian Brasov you can visit Bran Castle, supposedly belonged to Count Dracula. Whether the castle belonged to Dracula or not, no one knows for sure, but the road to the castle is picturesque, the castle itself is impressive, and the legends told by the guides chill the soul, so the tour will cause a lot of emotions. No less interesting is the royal castle of Peles. There are also many legends associated with it, and the mixture of architectural styles in this building will not leave anyone indifferent. Every 15 minutes buses leave the resort for Brasov, a typical Romanian city, colorful and quite pretty. For lovers of ice skating, an Olympic skating rink is being poured here.
